My stay at The Roosevelt was a mixed bag but had some great points. The hotel's charm, with its historical architecture and comfortable beds, was definitely a highlight. However, I struggled with room noise and the lack of in-room coffee makers. The staff were friendly and accommodating, which helped balance some of the downsides.

Rooms
6.0
I was in a king room with a city view, which felt cramped for two. The walls were thin, and I could hear a lot of outside noise and conversations, making sleep elusive. On the bright side, the bed was comfy, and the historic touches were nice.
Service
8.0
The service was a real standout with staff like Jerry and Oliver providing really good help. They were attentive and genuinely eager to assist, which made my experience more pleasant despite the noise issues.
Location
9.0
The location was fantastic! Being just a short walk from the French Quarter was perfect for exploring. It was lively but not directly on Bourbon Street, so that was a plus.
Dining
7.0
The dining options were decent, and I enjoyed the food, especially the breakfast buffet. However, I was a bit let down by the café coffee since it would have been nice to brew my own in the room.
Facilities
7.0
The facilities were well-maintained and included a charming lobby. However, I wish there were more conveniences in the room, like a coffee maker. The rooftop pool looked inviting and seemed like a nice spot to unwind.

6.6/10

I recently enjoyed a three-night stay at The Roosevelt Hotel. The room was clean and comfortable, boasting high ceilings that added a lovely touch. The location was incredibly convenient, just a short walk from the French Quarter. However, some issues arose, like a small bathroom and late housekeeping service on one day, which slightly impacted my overall experience.

Rooms
7.0
The room was spacious and offered high ceilings, which I appreciated. However, I found the bathroom to be on the small side and not as clean as I expected.
Service
6.0
Most of the staff were professional and attentive, but I had a frustrating experience with slow housekeeping one day and a lack of accountability over a mix-up during check-out.
Location
8.0
The hotel's location is fantastic, right off Canal Street and near the French Quarter, making it easy to explore the city. However, navigating the area on busy days can be challenging due to traffic.
Dining
8.0
I enjoyed the dining options, particularly the meals during the conference, which I found to be quite good. The restaurant on-site, Domenica, had excellent food that I would recommend.
Facilities
7.0
The hotel had well-maintained facilities, although I encountered some issues with the coffee shop and bar due to long lines during busy times, impacting my experience.

I had a wonderful time at The Roosevelt Hotel in New Orleans, admiring its stunning architecture and beautiful pool area. However, I did find the rooms to be quite small and the check-in experience was a bit rocky with an unmade room. Despite these issues, the staff's service was really good, which helped balance out the challenges I faced during my stay.

Rooms
6.0
The king room I stayed in was incredibly small, and the bathroom felt cramped with no counter space. The cleanliness was a bit lacking, and I had some trouble with the iron leaking on my clothes. However, I did appreciate the comfortable bed and the overall decor.
Service
7.0
While the front desk staff were polite, I didn't feel warmly welcomed or well-informed about hotel amenities. On the bright side, I received excellent service from the pool attendants, who were attentive and accommodating throughout my time there.
Location
9.0
The hotel's location is a real asset, just a short walk from the vibrant French Quarter. It made it easy to explore the city and experience the lively atmosphere of New Orleans, which I truly enjoyed during my stay.
Dining
8.0
I had great meals at the on-site dining options, and the coffee shop offered delicious pastries. I especially liked the atmosphere at the Sazerac Bar, where I enjoyed some fantastic cocktails.
Facilities
7.0
The rooftop pool was a highlight, providing a relaxing escape during my afternoons. Unfortunately, there was no courtyard or outdoor area to unwind outside of the pool, which was a bit disappointing.

6.0/10

My stay at The Roosevelt Hotel was a mixed bag. While the beautiful historical architecture and prime location close to the French Quarter were definite highlights, I faced some frustrating issues with my room assignment. Although my initial room was right next to the elevator despite my request to be away from it, the hotel staff's response to my request for a room change was disappointing. Overall, I appreciated the elegance of the hotel and the friendly service, but the room situation marred my experience.

Rooms
6.0
The rooms were nicely sized and clean, adding to the overall comfort during my stay. However, I was unhappy that my initial room was near the elevator, which caused noise issues.
Service
5.0
Most of the staff were friendly and professional, but they weren't very accommodating when I asked to change my room. I also felt like the drink coupon offered didn’t really help my situation since I was on a business trip.
Location
9.0
The location was perfect, just a short walk to the vibrant French Quarter, allowing easy access to great dining and entertainment options without being too close to the chaos.
Dining
8.0
I enjoyed the food options available, including some delicious offerings at the hotel and nearby. The dining was convenient and generally received good reviews from other guests.
Facilities
8.0
The hotel’s facilities, especially the rooftop pool and lounge areas, were impressive and well-maintained. It seemed like a nice place to unwind after a day in the city.

7.4/10

My stay at The Roosevelt Hotel was a mix of beauty and frustration. While the historical architecture and Christmas decorations were stunning, the noise from the street kept me awake most of the night, and the staff's response to my concerns was less than satisfactory. The comfort of the beds was a highlight, though my overall experience was marred by issues that made me reconsider staying here again.

Rooms
5.0
The room I was in had a lovely design, but the noise level was unbearable. The sofa bed was also inconvenient for accommodating my group.
Service
5.0
The staff seemed overwhelmed and unhelpful, especially when I needed assistance with noise complaints. Their attitude towards my concerns was disappointing.
Location
7.0
The hotel's location is great for accessing the French Quarter, but the surrounding noise was a significant drawback of my visit.
Dining
8.0
While I did not eat at the hotel during my stay, past experiences have shown the dining options can be good, adding a plus to future visits.
Facilities
6.0
The facilities appeared well-maintained, and the Christmas decorations were a magical touch, but the noise considerably detracted from my comfort.
